This guy beats the crud out of his Glock 21 and it keeps going
He even shoots it with a .22, drops it from a plane, ect

Me too! Anybody have a Kimber that they would like to donate?RECIT wrote:We all know a Glock will withstand that. I am wanting to see similar tests on other firearms and see what there threshold of functionality is.
But that's just wrong on about 3 levels. Nobody but an idiot actually treats their guns that badly, so I find those kinds of torture tests to be somewhat irrelevant. I generally like the Glock platform, but I take good care of all my pistols, and they all function well.marksiwel wrote:http://theprepared.com/index.php?option ... &Itemid=40

Dang, all I've ever done is shoot my G19 and it still managed to chip an extractor, break the slide and chew up a striker and FP safety in the past year. I guess I'm not treating it rough enough.marksiwel wrote:http://theprepared.com/index.php?option ... &Itemid=40

Aha! Not so fast. Check out this torture test of the XD. Now, I've never shot a Glock, so I don't have anything negative to say about them. I chose the XD for fit and features. But this XD torture test article helped.austinrealtor wrote:Others guns are too chicken to even attempt it
