Almost!!

Post by timdsmith72 »

My wife told me the other day that she wants to learn to shoot and might be interested in getting her CHL. :thumbs2:

I told her, that's great!!! But before we go to the range, there's a few things you have to learn. She's never shot anything at all before. So last night, just out of the blue, I sat down on the couch beside her and took my Sig out of it's holster, dropped the magazine, and ejected the round in the chamber. I handed it to her and asked, "Is it loaded or unloaded?" (I had never really talked to her about this before because she never seemed interested.) She said, "It's unloaded, because I just saw you do it, but I still need to check it."
SO CLOSE!! I explained that no matter what she saw me or anybody else do, it's ALWAYS loaded until she clears it herself.
I'm just happy she's interested!!! :tiphat:

Awesome!! Yeah, I'm one of the lucky ones too. My wife didn't mind me getting my CHL and actually took the class with me also. The only thing she doesn't like is when I have to buy accessories like a holster and gun belt. But eventually, she gave in. lol
