New Flashlight

Post by Zoomie »

I recently purchased a Surefire E2D LED Defender, and must say, it is without a doubt the best flashlight I have ever owned, seen, or used. It is remarkably small and very light (3.7oz). It has 2 output settings at 200 lumens and 5 lumens, and will run for 76hrs on the low setting (only 2hrs @200 lumens). It also has a strike bezel on one side and a pseudo strike Bessel on the other that keeps it from turning on accidentaly, and finally, like the name says, its an LED. I currently have an ATN Javelin on my AR, but will probably end up buying a mount for this light as well, and have incorporated it into my daily carry. In short, if you need a high quality light, and don't mind the somewhat high price tag, the Surefire E2D LED Defender is an outstanding choice. Here's a link with a picture since I don't have a camera.

Congrats! Has any one done a comparison between Sure Fire and Streamlight? Any opinions?

I have an A2 Aviator and really enjoy it. An added bonus is my wife uses a Surefire at work, so she keeps me stocked with batteries.

I recently purchased a 4Sevens Quark 123. 200 lumen in a tidy little package makes for easy EDC.
