Sort of work carry question

Post by zeroskillz »

I 'work' in a building that has a non-compliant sign posted saying something to the effect of 'Possession of a firearm on these premises including parking facilities is strictly forbidden'.
By 'work' I mean I am an independent contractor doing work for this company. I am not an employee, technically, despite the fact I've been there for 2 years full-time.
Is that considered employee notification?
Is it ok to carry there outside of the obvious risk of losing my 'job' if they find out?
Thanks!

That's the only risk. You're not at risk of any legal action, only loss of the job.
