Remington 1911R1 Due out this June.

Post by G.A. Heath »

I have heard this from a number of different sources, but ammoland has a story about it and a photo of a unit. It looks like a GI model with slightly better sights, the usual ejection port mods, and is rumored to have a few other "upgrades" too. Here's the ammoland article: http://www.ammoland.com/2010/04/22/remi ... 1-handgun/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Here is the Police Magazine story, with a link to the Cheaper than Dirt photo of how it is being shipped.

I wish I could do something that would last for 100 years.
If I had a gun for every ace I have drawn, I could arm a town the size of Abilene.

If I live to be 100 than I would have been "overweight" for 100 years that's almost something. 699$ another affordable remington product i just hope it's as reliable as there rifles and shotguns, but I'm sure it will be. Way to go remington
Life is hard, but it's harder when the Rottweiler has a can of pepper spray.

I'm definitely looking forward to this gun being released. I'm currently saving to buy an EMP, but as soon as I do that, I'll be saving to buy this if initial reviews are good.

Imagine how a guy who just bought a new Glock must feel right now. :banghead:
