Let's look at the big picture here:

Tens of thousands of American military are chasing Taliban
around a country ruled by a guy whose brother is a major
league doper. The Taliban would be unlikely to enter the
USA since it would take a plane ticket and scrutiny
during the travel. Homeland Security has geared up since 9/11.

Meanwhile the continental US (Arizona) is being entered by
armed dopers and coyotes, yet there are no American troops
to protect Arizonans from these people, as far as 80 miles north
into Arizona.

Then Obama complains about Arizona "usurping" federal powers.
Arizona was right in usurping those powers since the feds aren't
using 'em anyways. Sheesh.

This has just gone tooo far! When we are unable to move freely in our OWN country because of criminals and invading illegals, we MUST do something! :mad5 :mad5

It seems we can send troops all over the known world for just about any threat (real or political) and keep them there for decades, but sending them to secure our own border is too difficult. If there was a call for military recruits just for a border security force (that would stay in the US and not be deployed to foreign wars), I bet there would be a flood of applicants.

How long will this go on? Just how much of our country are we going to give them before our federal government sends ENOUGH troops to fix this !? :banghead:

I propose a new Theme Park called Sniper World. All calibers welcome. $20 a day for entry, stay all day and night. No limit - no season. Happy Hunting

Doug :txflag:

My guess is business will drop off after the first few weeks. Word will get out I'm sure.

I fear for the future of this country.

I fear for the future of this country not only because our government refuses to control our borders, the threat of terrorism, the fact we are slowly losing our rights in the name of “national security” and I also believe the bail outs just postponed the economical collapse.

I also fear my son who is obviously Hispanic may get caught in the backlash. He is a good person, has served his country in the military, has a good job, is raising his children with a sense of responsibility and a strong sense of right and wrong, but some people may not take the time to find this out. For those who care, I am Caucasian and his mother is Hispanic. We were both born in the USA and both of his grandfathers served in the U.S. Army in WWII. I also served four years during the Viet Nam era. To some people he is just a dark skinned “Mexican”. I am glad he is getting his CHL.

I am 64 and in the “autumn of my life”.

As I stated I fear for the future of this country and can only wish my three children and all of my grandchildren “good luck”.
God Bless America, and please hurry.

I agree, i think about what a ridiculous mess we are leaving to our children and it makes me sick. How long do you think it would take for our military to clean up all that mess down there once given the go ahead??

I think it is right that the parkland is closed for the time being while there is a danger of encountering paramilitaries within it.

Thanks for the link. I thought I heard somewhere that it was closed back in 2006. It's a bad situation but I wonder why it's suddenly news now.

OK. Now you can fill in the blanks what I think of the media.

Rhetorical question: is it no longer possible to do any fact checking at all!!! before "reporting" the "news"???? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

[sarcasm]Yes, telling legal citizens they can't enter an area because illegal invaders are busy using that space is a great strategy to solve the problem.[/sarcasm]
