CZ Sights ?

Post by Piney »

Greetings--

G/F has a model 75 compact 9mm

She shots well with it at static targets. She doesn't shoot so well at moving targets or while moving (like IDPA style).

She was shooting my G34 last weekend at a steel plate rack. She realized that she likes the "larger" sights it has. She said it was easier to get the sights back on after moving to another target.

QUESTION-- suggestions for replacement sights on her CZ pistol ? No real need for night sights-- just something that will allow her to get a sight picture quicker and easier.

Thanks--

The G34 has a lot longer sight radius than her CZ compact, maybe that's what's really helping her and changing the sights on the CZ won't make any difference.
See if you can rent or borrow a G26 and if she shoots it as well as the 34 then that would eliminate the sight radius as a factor.

Of course, maybe the Glock just fits her better.

Anyway, here are a couple of links to check out:

Greetings--

I tried to suggest that the longer sight radius *might* be what helped her-- but....I was quickly informed that wasnt it.... hey.. wummens eh ? I also politely suggested practice....*G*...

My Glock's grip doesnt fit her hand all that well-- that's why she chose the CZ. She's shot my G26 and hates it-- too short she says. I'll get her to try a 19 and see.....

High Velocity, would you please edit the link posting you have so that the URL is hidden behind link text? The length of the URL makes it difficult to read this thread. All you have to do is post it like this and replace the angled brackets with square brackets (and loose the spaces I put in to allow the text to break over more than one line):

<url=http://search.cheaperthandirt.com/searc ... xml_no_dtd& client=firsttest&btnG=Search&access=p&ip=66.190.67.231&proxystylesheet=firsttest &getfields=price&getfields=image&filter=p>text</url>

Thanks!

Edited to delete the quote with URL. Thanks again, HV!

Sorry about that. Sometimes I forget that most folks aren't running 1600 x 900 resolution.
It all fits on one line on my screen.
