Service grade, purchased on 7/21/2000 for $400.00. Price is still firm. Serial number 47170#$.
Revised: WTS U.S. M1 Garand .Harrington and Richardson
$700.00 , plus increase ammo to 12 clips ( 8 rds. per clip), plus throw in G.I. bayonet and scabbard which is correct for a Korean war era Garand. Price is firm, just like the last time.

As a service grade it's probably a mixmaster, right?
Can you provide any details of the markings on the sight knobs, bolt, op rod, trigger group, stock cartouches (probably a 3/8" DAS?), barrel marking, ME, and TE?
BTW, I'm in the Austin area - just west of the city.

Re: WTS U.S. M1 Garand .Harrington and Richardson
Throat erosion, I don't know as I don't have the guage and in 2000 they did not provide the info on the paperwork. As for muzzlewear, virtually none. I have done the bullet in the barrel test and compared it to my other Garands and it appears to have very little if any wear. Here are some markings : Barrel - hra d6535443 2 54 r529, op rod - d35382 sa, bolt - d6528287 hra, trigger group - d28290-12-sa,hammer -sa, stock has a couple p's stamped on the pommel. Rear sights say bme on them and are non-lockbar type. If your seriously interested and are west of austin ( I am in wimberley) I don't mine giving you the gun for awhile for examination, provided I get all of your info.
