Possible stalker
My younger sister was visiting my other sisters work, she was approached by an older man while there, he leaned in and said "where ever you go tonight i'll be there". The older of my sisters witnessed this and saw his face, they told her manager and he watched the man get into his car and leave.
The younger sister goes to her work the next day and the man shows up there. She called the cops and they questioned him. of course he denied everything and they did nothing else.
My wife is getting the details now, but what else can you do? I think they have a description of his car and will be looking for it. But working in such a public place can leave you vulnerable to freaks.

This is why God made swamps I think.
That guy needs to be at the bottom of one.
There are some seriously sick, freaky, people out there.

Re: Possible stalker
If She has a CHL then carry. If not then I would go to the nearest police supply and get some fox labs 5.3oc. My wife had something similar happen when we were dating. I worked close to her and everytime the guy showed up she would call me. We have alot of friends that are LEO's and when possible one of them would show up. HE GOT THE MESSAGEfadlan12 wrote:My younger sister was visiting my other sisters work, she was approached by an older man while there, he leaned in and said "where ever you go tonight i'll be there". If he continues to stalk her keep reporting to PD then get a restraining order. IMO
I'm sure some one more knowledgable than me will chime in here real soon

My wife suggested the CHL (but waiting for approval 60-90 days from now...) but my sister did not want to change her life becuase of this freak.
The cops told her if the guy is bothering her she can get a restraining order. We'll see what happens. She is not too wierded out, she has lived out of the country several times so she's savy.

2 ounce bottle of OC spray (Fox Labs)and a holster that allows IWB carry. I know I seem a bit redundant posting this link.....but it puts my mind at ease with Kimberly and some of the places she has to go at night without me. I agree with everyone above....this should only supplement her firearm if she has a CHL. If she doesn't.....what class did she sign up for? One this weekend?

I would also suggest the Fox spray as a start.fadlan12 wrote:My wife suggested the CHL (but waiting for approval 60-90 days from now...) but my sister did not want to change her life becuase of this freak.
Not everybody gets a warning that somebody is after them. I would submit the idea that a savy person would take advantage of the warning given to them. Now is the time to prepare.
A CHL may take ~90 days, but a little firearms training and a home defense gun don't take that long.

A camera phone could be very helpful. If the guy is a known offender, he could end up back in the slammer on a probation or parole violation before he does any further harm.
A number of assaults and abductions have been prevented because the intended victim took a photo of the offender and transmitted it to someone.
Camera phones aren't expensive, and you're talking about someone's life here.

She needs to be aware that this "Freak" could be seriously disturbed. He could be harmless but I wouldn't take my chances. He already has changed her life and she needs to be prepaired.Paladin wrote:fadlan12 wrote:My wife suggested the CHL (but waiting for approval 60-90 days from now...) but my sister did not want to change her life becuase of this freak.

One afternoon on the home defense gun. buy and train.
The guy that started stalking my wife was a "weirdo". As soon as I read the thread my hackles went up. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS GUY.[/i]

His behavior listed hardly meets the elements of stalking.gregthehand wrote:Have him charged.
