Good report. Thank you.

What I see is another MSM attack on the right to self-defense, just a little better disguised than it is normally. Note how the article turns the issue into "defending property" rather than defending your life. When we see articles like this we have to consider the target audience, and it's not people like us. The theme of the article is killing people over property, or "money in the cash register." It pretends to give balance by quoting someone from the NRA, but the quote is about shooting people over property. No informed opinion is sought to refute the ridiculous insinuation that shooting an armed assailant is merely about the money in the cash register. Three of the incidents listed are home invasions yet all the discussion centers around protecting property and there is no discussion of the predatory and life threatening nature of these incidents --they're all diminished in seriousness by the brief description and suggestion that they were crimes against property, not people.

You're right, VMI77. This is typical rhetoric from the left when they have no ability to argue with the logical conclusion that I was defending my life or the life of another. That BG pointing the gun at me demanding money is also very likely to shoot me if I don't give it to him quick enough or enough money period or just because so I can't identify him to the police later. I noticed that they were not allowing comments on this article.
