Standarizing on 1 holster

Well, I think I'm ready to standarize on the Balckhawk CQC Serpa holster ($40-50 OTD here in Austin) w/ the active retention that must be manually disengaged to draw. This is an owb holster with belt loop (it comes w/ paddle but I don't use it). I hating not tucking in my shirt, so I'm limited to OWB or pocket carry.

I've tested this holster in 4O'clock conceal carry around town and around kids, and open carry at 3O'clock at IPSC. It is slower than holsters w/ passive retention but much more secure (you gun simply won't come out unless a recessed button is pushed).

I am happy that I don't have to worry about holsters anymore and I can finally stop shoping them. Right now I'm buying 1 for each of my guns.

I'll just have the following:
1. This holster for each gun
2. speed holster for 1911
3. pocket holster for PM9
4. Fanny pack holster for PM9

That's it.

Different holsters for different guns. Mainly because the same type of carry doesn't always work. Some ankle, some shoulder, some strong side OWB.

What works for my G21 doesn't feel right with my 1911. Different holsters for different guns.

The holster drawer is filling up fast.

I have a few holsters for each pistol. Depending on how I dress makes a difference in holster selection. I have some that I can tuck a shirt into and some that are OWB for carry in the winter or hunting as a backup. Some work well under a t-shirt and some are for competition. I don't think there's ONE perfect holster for everything unless you're a creature of habit and can get away with it......then I can tell you that you'll probably save alot of money on holsters!!
