Looks awesome! Only $725 MSRP.

2.7" barrel, SAO.

Wish I had some extra money, I would definitely get this.

This looks like an outstanding deep concealment / small EDC / BUG piece.

I'll be watching for tests and range reports.

This one might just have to go on my shopping list...but I'll wait to see if it really delivers without any new gun glitches.

You definitely get what you pay for. Kimber makes very reliable guns, I carry the CDP II Ultra.

Man, that thing looks sweet! Maybe there'll be a 9mm in my future.

I really like it...so far. I want to get it for my wife as a daily carry but I need to see some reviews on it first.

Yeah, you've had a tough row to hoe recently with yours.

Good-lookin' gun. Definitely on the high side of the single-stack 9mm price range but I'm assuming that's MSRP and not necessarily street price. I'm guessing the new Sig 9mm pocket gun will be similarly priced.

The SAO operation is also interesting choice. I'd be curious to understand more about the action, manual of arms, etc. I'm assuming it's intended to be carried cocked-n-locked like a 1911? Not sure that would be my first choice in a pocket gun - if in fact this is small enough for pocket carry.

Yes, looks interesting. I'd like to shoot one. I have a 9mm beretta px4 storm that is too big to carry on a daily basis ... As someone said earlier: perhaps there is one of these in my future. Thanks for the post.

I was at the range yesterday and a guy walked up with one of these. It was the demo model from the store at this range; the clerk was obviously trying to make a sale. Anyhow, the thing kept stove-pipeing every couple of shots. After looking at it some it appeared that both magazines were a little too wide at the feed lips, allowing rounds to wiggle forward. When the slide cycled to grab the next round it would cause the top round to interfere with the case being expelled, thus causing a jam. At least that was my 30 second diagnosis.

After that everyone from behind the counter had to come out and shoot the thing to prove that it was shooter error and/or I didn't know what I was talking about. All with similar results.

Truth be told, it was a nice little pistol (except the slide stop appeared to be either plastic, or some dinky metal material). Either way for $725 you shouldn't have to deal with those issues, or wait for the kinks to be worked out.

I think that the new Ruger LC9 shows more promise than this Kimber.
