Gunsmith recommendation in Lubbock Area
I bought some night sight for my Kimber and I'm wanting to get them swapped out here locally if possible. Any suggestions?? Would greatly appreciate the help if possible. Thanks, Bryan

I haven't used him, but a friend of mine swears by the smith at Gander Mountain. I would be willing to bet that Randy at West Texas Military Surplus can direct you to a real good one.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

I'll swing by there and see if he has a recommendation. As for Gander, I called them and was told they no longer have a gunsmith. I was quite surprised because I've heard that the fellow that was there before was good. Thanks for the quick reply.

Wow, my buddy will be heart broken to hear that. But Randy will know of a good one. I know sharp shooters used to have a smith on Mondays, but I avoid SS when I can. The folks out at the Gun Shack may know of a good smith as well, but I can't be sure of that. Let me know what you find out because the smith I have been using retired recently, and is moving to Florida. I figure Lubbock will be where I find my next smith as I do go there frequently enough.
