Holster Question - FBI Cant or Straight Up
Holster Question - FBI Cant or Straight Up
I know that many holsters are adjustable, but I am curious whether most people carry in a holster with the forward "FBI cant" or straight up.

OWB carry, leather pancake and Serpa. Max forward.
However, in competition Serpa is re-adjusted straight up for regulation measure.

FBI for me too on all my holsters, except my Bladetech SRB which I bought for match use (now I just have to actually enter a match), which I currently have set to FBI cant, but can be setup to straight up for competition.

Re: Holster Question - FBI Cant or Straight Up
IWB Carry holster is canted forward as it makes the firearm easier to conceal under my shirt.
No cant for the competition holster.

High Noon Down Under with a Cant.
Re: Holster Question - FBI Cant or Straight Up
It depends.
For most IWB or high ride OWB carry, I go with a 10 - 15 degree forward cant. This conceals my large SA pistols better with most of the clothes I wear.
For OWB with a Serpa or a duty / tactical holster either belt mounted or leg mounted, I prefer straight up.
