One step closer to bringing common sense back to Illinois. I bet Daly and Emanuel will have fits over this. They're already grousing about the concealed carry bill in the state house.

Firearms Owner ID Card?

I don't have room in my wallet for my Automobile Owner ID Card, my Kitty-Cat care and loving ID card, my 15-year old Teenage Son Parenting Authorization or any of the thousand other items required by various levels of Government.

Note this does NOT allow concealed carry by residents of other states in Illinois. It allows gun owners from other states to transport firearms the same way Illinois residents can--cased and unloaded. The court simply said they are not required to have an FOID (which is not available to residents of other states.
