Just saw at the gun show this past weekend in Pasadena, Bersa .380 NIB, for $195. I think it was at AJC. Seemed like a pretty good price.

I think there is going to be another one at Pasadena on Dec. 16-17.

I thought Ms. Stevie_D was happy with her Para Ordnance? But, I gotta admit, the Bersa Thunder is one sweet little pocket pistol. And the CTAC holster I got with it from Nitrogen is great too. I have never been happy with an IWB holster before, but this one works for me. I hope y'all find one too!

I've never seen AJC "not" ever have a great deal on something your looking for...I just wish I had the time and the wherewithall to have gotten up off my "*" and headed down to that show this weekend...

Now I gotta wait for the next one...

I may just call AJC up and see whats shakin' now...

Well it is your fault! ;-)

Wife Unit bought a Taurus PT 24/7 in 9mm, that was her first ever gun purchase...And like a good husband I am, I didn't interfere, I let her shop for this one...Just to see if she could do it...I knew she would, and I think she picked out a very good pistol...

I've still only been allowed to put one magazine through it...And I think besides the trigger taking a bit to get used to, I think it'll make a fine defensive pistol for her...

The Bersa idea came late Sunday...So I did a bit of searching and saw some "internet" deals that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up...

But I feel better now, with what Eric just posted...

Its going to be a Merry Christmas this year...I can just feeeeeel it!

BTW, what was the model and style of that CTAC you got for it??? I thought you had it in a pocket holster rig Sunday???

Steve-
I actually drove down to their shop in Clute a while back to pick up my RRA AR15. It is not really that far of a drive for a new gun  bout an hour. FWIW, they have a great Mexican food restaurant next door...you can make an afternoon of it.

The holster is a Comp-Tac C-TAC. I like it because it is adjustable about 9 different ways and flexible enough to curve around my hip if I want to wear it a little bit further back. The clips grab onto the waistband of my jeans so that I don't have to wear a belt and it is slim enough that I can conceal it even under my work/dress pants.

However, the pants I was wearing Sunday are just a little too loose, and I didn't wear a belt, so it was a sloppy fit. And I just don't like the pistol flopping around on my waistband. So, I ditched the holster and dropped the Bersa in my front pocket. And you never even knew...

I think I am seeing a trend here. Jbird will go anywhere as long as there is good food and guns involved...

Are you and Marty long lost cousins?

I've noticed that too...I believe good food and firearms are synonymous...A very healthy lifestyle...

Also, I work at 288 and 610 loop here in Houston...I am planning on a road trip down yonder next Thursday...

I call AJC's and they told me they are not going to be at the Pasadena Gunshow on the 16th...And they are only open on weekdays till 6pm...8pm on Thursdays...

Wife Unit will be the proud owner of a brand new Thunder .380 in the Deluxe Blue finish at Christmas...

I wonder what I'll be getting??? But I am wishing for "World Peace"... ;-)

Hey Stevie when I was looking at the .380's I ended up getting the Firestorm which is made by Bersa also but the trigger guard is shaped more like a PPK. A holster was easier to find. ;-) Funny, My wife ended up taking it away from me she loves shooting it.

Saxet Show is in Conroe this weekend (25th and 26th). Just in case you don't want to wait for next Thursday.
