Recommend CHL instructor near Grand Prairie?

Post by RHenriksen »

I did search the archives... I know this is a subject that comes up often. My search-fu must be lacking...

Have a friend in G.P. who's interested in taking the class. He's probably not willing to drive to the far flung corners of the metroplex, but I'm going to do my best to convince him to go a little further for a GOOD instructor.

Any names/URLs/recommendations will be most welcome!

Only 23 miles, and you get a class at Cabela's, but our own Crossfire has one of the best classes you can take IMO. AND, they are now an L1 fingerprint center, so one stop shopping!!! :thumbs2: http://www.crossfire-training.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

One stop shopping sounds great, and FW isn't too bad a drive. Doesn't look like they have a class before weekend after next, though :-( I'll tell him about Cross-fire. Any other plan B/C options if the schedule doesn't work out?

Took mine with Kimberman. Check out chltx.com Great guy and makes the class a lot of fun. LOADS of good info, not just law but practical applications too :coolgleamA:

We took our class at http://www.bullseyerandg.com/index.htm

The range is on site and they don't charge for you to use one of their
weapons for the test.
It's in Duncanville off of I-20 and Exit 461 (Cedar Ridge Rd.) about 3 miles South.

Don't really care for their gun range or their store prices, but DFW did have some good instructors.

I took mine with Kimberman also. His website is chltx.com. He is a very good instructor and had a good time in the class.
