I believe the price for individual boxes is $12.95.
This round would appear to be in the upper echelon of defensive rounds.
It is routinely recommended to fire up to several hundred rounds of your carry ammunition to establish reliability. At $0.75-$1.00 for most of the best defensive ammo, this quickly becomes cost prohibitive.
In my case, I just acquired two new .40's and figured this an affordable option.
I saw no other calibers on sale.

CDNN also has a good deal on the Ranger .40cal ammo. It's $12.99 per box/50 in the 155gr (1195fps) or 180gr (1015) subsonic versions. Not sure what shipping is.
There's also a guy on the Beretta Forum who sells the Ranger ammo at $20 to $22 a box/50. These prices do not include shipping, but he's honest and extremely reliable/easy to get ahold of.
