Action Block and Tools?

Post by Lonest4r »

looking to borrow an action block and barrel wrench for a standard A3 flat top upper. My upper is on the way, along with my barrel, and this is my first EBR build. I am looking at buying one for myself, but I am on a budget right now. Any suggestions as to which style block is the best? DFW area.

I like the DPMS upper block. The upper pins to it as it would to a lower so it is not in the way for installing the dust cover or forward assist. Very solid to work with as well. Shop around, I found it online for about $35.
I use the Plastix Plus lower block available from Midway.

I ended up with the DPMS block that you recommended. It seems to work great, thanks for the rec.
