*TRADED* Kimber Eclipse Pro .45 internal extractor

Post by Texican_gal »

Update: Well, I swapped my Eclipse to a dealer in exchange for a Colt Gov't Series 70 with a Bar-Sto barrel ....

Thanks for looking, everyone!

Hello TexasCHL'ers,

To finance another acquisition I will be selling my as-new Kimber Eclipse Pro – has 50 rounds through it, still not broken in.

Click links for pix:

Comes with original plastic lockable case, and one McCormick Shooting Star 8-round magazine. I'm looking for the original Kimber magazine, it's somewhere around here, but I never used it.

$875 with shipping included.

Ask here, or send questions to: notmodern@comcast.net

Kimber Eclipse Pro

First, welcome to the Forum! And as a 7th-generation, pre-Republic Texican myself, I love your nickname.

It seems such a shame to have to think about parting with a pistol that has only 50 rounds down the pipe. When did you purchase it? And I assume you bought it new? Any modifications from factory stock, or any shooting issues you've had with it?

I know, I wouldn't sell the pistol but I have to in order to get the AR15 I want ....

I purchased it new over a year ago. Absolutely no modifications or "funny business" perpetrated on this firearm.

I did have some FTRBs (failure to return to battery), but I was assured that was because it was a new, tight, Kimber. I believe this assessment is accurate.

I don't get to shoot as much as I'd like. I hate having to go to citified indoor ranges, hence the only 50 rounds (plus having other pistols to "exercise" also ...).

Y'all are so right. Tritium night sights!

They are indeed green, but I'm not sure they're as bright as they could be (or maybe I just don't understand night sights). This is the first pair I've seen.

And yes, ambi-safety.

Black-oxide look on top of slide, polished black mirror-effect on the sides.

Nope, not yet. I guess I'll list on GunsAmerica soon. I've sold 3 pistols through them, but it does take a while ....

I did sell a Mitchell Luger (stainless steel) on GA and that went QUICK. Interestingly, across the country Mitchells were selling for more than the "blue book" value (as did mine).
