A LEO speaks on self-defense

Buy a gun. Get a bat. Own some weapon and have enough skill to use it to save your own life and the lives of your family members. DO NOT RELY ON THE POLICE TO SAVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU.

Well written and completely accurate. Society as a whole has become almost entirely dependent upon the services of 911 to solve their problems and many people have been raised in that culture, thus they know nothing else. The masses have lost the ability to solve their own problems.

That way it'll be the person who attacked you who is bleeding in your driveway, instead of you

Great article.
Emergencies happen way too fast way too often to count on anyone but yourself.
