"making bullets" at Popey's

Post by rthillusa »

I figured my grand-son would take to reloading pretty quickly, what surprised me is my grand-daughter's enthusiasm. She told her Mom, "We're making bullets". Her Mom, my daughter, looked a little skeptical at first and then came over and got interested in it too. We decapped and primed 120 .243 rounds tonight. As soon as I get another paycheck we're getting A REAL PRESS. Yahoo - no more hammering them together on the Lee Loader.

Now that's a good thing.
Can't wait until my Grandson is old enough.
He is -2 weeks old...That's 2 weeks until he is born..!!! :hurry:

Won't be long now....!!!!!
I guess I have time to clean up my shop until he is ready to help hu?

Many great memories of sitting with dad either priming, depriming, sizing, dumping powder (single stage press). A lot of good talks!

Make sure everyone is washing hands really well - lead is harder on kids than us old folks. (PSA brought to you by habit  )

That is an important fact.
I still need to run water out to my shop which is about 200' from my house. I want to be able to have a sink in there, maybe even a restroom??? One problem is I live out in the woods and there are MANY tree roots in the path I need to run the pipe. Guess I got to get a professional trencher not my John Deere and a small single plow.
Oh well, I'll get it done soon( I hope )...ground is moist now..been having a drought for a long time as many know.
