Well, I finally broke down and decided it's time to buy my first AR15.More inclined on the tactical models flat top w/ BUIS as I plan to scope/eou tech it eventually.
I have budgeted $700-$800.00 and I am ready to buy anytime if the deal is right ( meaning I am looking for a reasonable bargain) however it will only be FTF at my place of work..
You can email me at reysolcruz@hotmail.com if you've got something we can talk about..I was actually planning to do my shopping at the TSRA gunshow on the first weekend of February but who knows what shows up on this site...
I would put together a 1911 trade plus cash option for those who would rather trade..
Thanks Ya'll.

WTB AR15 ....
Re: WTB AR15 ....
Would you be interested in a complete DPMS A2 lower for $225 shipped?
Just add a complete upper and you've got an AR-15.

Re: WTB AR15 ....
Thanks but I'll pass for now but will keep that option open. I am just an AR moron as of now ( hopefully not for long) and this will be a learning experience..( translation... I don't know what an A2 lower is in terms of capabilities/limitations/options)j1132s wrote:Would you be interested in a complete DPMS A2 lower for $225 shipped?

A2 is the type of buttstock this lower has. I think I paid $250 incl. shipping and FFL transfer for this thing a few months ago.
The AR can be easily taken apart into an upper and lower, you do this when cleaning it, etc.
Once you have a lowr, you can go to ar15.com and buy an RRA complete upper w/ shipping for $425 (or something like that), that is a _very_ good price BTW, and it gets sent to your house (unlike the lower receiver).
I'm not in need to unload this lower, but I don't mind selling it w/o its A2 buttstock, i.e. you'll need a new buttstock and many folks like adjustable types. Frankly, I find the A2 the most confortable and pleasing to the eye.
Good luck in your AR-15 hunt. You'll love it, accurate and cheap to shoot.
Edit to add link to great RRA deal:
