Get an LnL AP and help USA Shooting Team!

Post by OldCannon »

Well, Hornady's website is ganked, presumably from too much web traffic (sorry guys, running IIS on Windows XP is NOT how you deliver web pages  ), so I'll make a repost of Hornady's and USA Shooting's post here:

"Hornady Manufacturing is offering a unique Zombie Max™ Ammo Plant for auction with all proceeds benefiting the USA Shooting Team competing in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

The features of this reloader are identical to the brand new Hornady® Lock-N-Load® Ammo Plant, with one key difference. The Zombie Max™ version has been designed to complement Hornady’s limited-time Zombie Max™ ammunition. Its green paint and “zombified” graphics were crafted by Hornady® Tool Division workers. They created these presses as a surprise for the company’s President and Vice President, Steve and Jason Hornady, as a way to build excitement for the release of the Zombie Max™ line. The Hornadys are offering one for public auction, with all proceeds supporting the USA Shooting team. Details about the tool’s features and technical abilities can be found on the Hornady® website. The retail version of the Lock-N-Load® Ammo Plant sells for $1,330.

"We thought this would be a fun, unique, and functional way for reloading enthusiasts to participate in the zombie craze that is currently so popular," said Steve Hornady, "while helping the USA Shooting Team in their quest for Olympic gold this summer. It’s an honor for us to be able to support the team in this way."

Founded in 1949, Hornady Manufacturing Company is a family owned business headquartered in Grand Island, Nebraska. Proudly manufacturing products that are made in the USA, Hornady Manufacturing is a world leader in bullet, ammunition, reloading tool and accessory design and manufacture."

LOL! It's not THAT bad. And _all_ the money goes to supporting the US Olympic shooting team. But this is definitely along the lines of "I gave X thousand dollars to the USA Shooting team and I got this reloading press as a gift!" ;-)
