Handgun bullets.

My old dealer has decieded to not answer his emails or call me back. So I now am looking for a new bullet source. Who are you guys using for cast bullets? I have found several places online with good prices but after waiting 2 weeks for someone to not even give me an answer I want to stick to a company that actually cares about the customer.

Precision Bullets are coated with a polymer Velocity Bullets are traditional cast bullets.

Thanks for the links. Going to place order tonight, have primers just sitting all alone waiting on bullets to go with them.

You can read numerous positive comments over the years over at TheHighRoad.org Handloading & Reloading forum. Do a search for Missouri Bullet Co's THR discount over there and get the current code for a 5% discount.

If I didn't cast my own, that who I would buy from. When I purchased in the past, I was always pleasantly surprised by the customer service and bullet quality.

I stopped over to THR and found out that MBC is no longer accepting new customers. They've hit their limit on growth and cannot find qualified people to hire. They are supplying a million bullets a month to wholesale purchasers and have 14,000 internet customers. MBC decided to back off on their growth for now. Sorry.

Been looking into casting my own , my boss said I can have the 10 5-gallon bucks of wheel weights we have in the storage room. Just haven't read enough on it yet to start making my own yet.

Ok, how do I say this without yelling.... grab ALL of those l'il suckers NOW!

Wheelweights are incredibly scarce right now and make fantastic cast bullets.

I started taking them already, asked him 3 times to make sure he stuck to the get them out of here story he told me. I get to work before 99% of the other guys and he just said to do it with no one around. Everyone gets made someone gets something they don't even if its basically trash to them.

They said they can't get rid of them, our waste chemical company wont take them . My old boss is at another dealer now so might hit him up for all his when I get up and running. Free is my kind of price range.

I kinda laughing about a 5 gallon bucket full of wheel weights.....I tried that trick a long time back....Got any idea how much that weighs????
Way too much..!!

I had to get help to help to drag it to my truck, then got hand fulls and threw them in the bed until I could lift the bucket which was almost empty.
Well...I do have a screwed up back too...that doesn't do me any favors.

Like others has said....GET ALL YOU CAN BUY OR GET FREE while you can.
You could even TRADE them later if you do not use them!! ( remember what you said about powder and primers? )

To start off with, you can buy Lee molds which are very cheap compared to the rest and do a good job on average.
You can get a pot and a fire going for basic equipment to smelt the WW's to usable ingots. Then use the same pot with a dipper later to pour bullets. There ARE better ways, but its a start. Read the PDF AndyC mentioned, its a good read and very helpful.

Between all of us here, you should get a good start if you want.
