Ok so I just got my plastic in the mail today and I have 2 choices for carry, a 1911 compact and a S&W Sigma .40ve (I personally love this gun as much as my 1911) and im only going to carry my .40 because my 1911 is my baby, now my question is what type of iwb holster should I get for top of the line carry, I know about crossbreed holsters but they take 4-6 weeks to have one made and shipped so im not to crazy about that, so if anyone knows another type of holster to get I would really appreciate the help because IM SO CONFUSED LOL ALL THE CHOICES
Should we delete the other thread since you are basically asking the same question in this one?
You are going to get the same answer as far as holster goes in other threads. I would do a bit of back tracking in the forums for a quicker response because I see this one every other week here.
Found this on http://www.crossbreedseconds.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; just now. Go get your Supertuck. It should be in your mailbox within a week.
2103 Super Tuck Cowhide Right Hand Sigma Good $35.00 Order
I don't carry a Sigma, but if I did, I would still prefer Dos XX.

...you might look at the Don Hume Leathergoods site...they have dozens of styles and are reasonably priced...been using their products since the early 70s...quick delivery and good customer service...
Been using this one everyday for over a year for my M&P 45c and love it, best holster I own. My dad has the CBST and the leather on mine is much thicker and holds shape better once broke in. Check it out ships fast and has a money back grantee.

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic-TN
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.
You mentione that you just got your CHL. I dont want to bash you about this but these 2 questions (your other post as well) should have been researched BEFORE your plastic came in. That way you would be ready to go.
In answer to your question, I carry all of mine OWB in a slide holster.

A 4-6 week back order for a holster is no big deal while you're waiting 4-6 weeks for the license. I like OWB "pancake style" holsters. Most paddle holsters stick out too much to conceal well. IWB was good when I was young but not so much now after too many pancake breakfasts. Carrying right now in a Galco Combat Master. Despite the name, it's more practical than tactical.

They were but im just not sure about which one I want to go with so it was more of a which holster is better as I am a larger man and not every holster made for a string bean is going to work for me perhapse I should have specified my question, and maybe you should have asked me if I knew what was going on before you had assumed that I didnt research anything. As of right now I use a blackhawk size 6 iwb holster which im not to fond of because it allowed sweat to get on my 1911 as I had it on me this morning and once I noticed that I switched to my .40.
also my clothing style doesnt allow for a owb seeing as how I live in Houston and its about to be summer todays high was 87 for crying out laoud, granted im losing weight doing cardio and working out so hopefully i will be able to carry owb at some point
I just recently ordered a crossbreed and received it in about 3 weeks, I also ordered an old faithful holster which is similar and that took about 2 weeks. Both were worth the wait. I had tried a few different brands and styles and these are by far more comfortable.
