Prayer request for me

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayer request for me

Post by Bill »

I found out I have cancer and will Begin treatment this coming week at Memorial Herman Memorial city. I have a tumor in my throat under my tongue and 2- lymph nodes, and will be going to Radiation and chemo for 6-weeks. I am self employed so I will somehow need the well being to manage my business. My wife is a nurse for MH med center so insurance covers most everything. I am not good at suffering, never really been sick until this at age 55.
Thanks fellow CH'ers

I will keep you and your family in my prayers. As difficult as it is right now, try to stay positive. It really does make a difference, I speak from experience.

Indeed, it makes such a difference that you can even boost your odds by playing a certain video game (you might have to be a kid for it to work, though).

Prayers sent

My dad had a thyroid/neck/parathyroid/lymph glands cancer in 1970s, at about age 50 in Houston, Medicine advanced since then, but they got rid of it, and he lived more than 30 more years when he passed from other causes at age 82. which is when he always said he'd go.

I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. No doubt it will be tough, but no doubt with all of the prayers the Great Physician will use the radiation and chemo to heal you and your recovery will be quick.

We will be praying for you fervently as well as your family.
