Match Shooter Dresses Up

Post by doc540 »

Had Ahrends make a set of custom stocks from the same wood as the presentation case.

They'll eventually go on a Royal Blue 1911 currently at the Colt Custom Shop, but in the mean time the 9mm Commander is showing off a little.

I'll never own a colt again.

Les Baer, Wilson, Ed Brown, Nighthawk are the only brands I'll ever buy a 1911 in.

To each his own, I guess.

Personally, I try to behave respectfully and on-topic myself.

But if you felt the need to use my thread to diss Colt, I hope you feel better now.

I'm by no means dissing colt, I will just never own one again. I'll spend the money and buy a non off-the-shelf [entry level] 1911 from now on.

No real rule broken that I can see but kinda unethical to steel a guys thunder when he is prowd of what he has.

Some of us have to be prowd of RIAs. And at personal defense range just as accurate as the 4 above.

BTW - I never able to own a Colt myself. Beautiful gun & grips too.
