I don't like Romney as a candidate, but i'm more afraid of Obama as a second term president than Romney as a first term president.

It forgot to mention one believes in capitalism, free markets and the country. The other hates all 3.

It is sophistry to assert they are equal. I guarantee they would appoint different judges.

It sure would be nice to have a government that truely cares for the people and not their own agenda. Guess that is asking to much these days.

They forgot that one is a capitalist and one is a socialist. One is pro-life, the other is so ardently pro choice he would not want his daughters punished with a baby!
One will seek to implement the healthcare law with all his might, the other would leave health care to the states. Quite a few differences there!

It's only diffrent if you look at the things Obama doesn't want you to and we can't do that

Re: something to think about....
I do not want the government to "care" for me. I want the government to respect the constitution above all and to leave me alone. In 1980, there was the "I'm Mad Too, Eddie" campaign. The idea was that the feds should protect the borders of the United States, deliver the mail, and leave the rest of us alone. While that might be a bit too extreme, the idea that the feds should be limited in their powers is enshrined in the constitution, as originally conceived. Currently, our government delivers the mail, and that is about it. Under Obama, the feds are not protecting the borders from invasion, and they certainly are not leaving citizens alone. A pox on their house (in the Shakespearian sense). Look it up.stealthfightrf17 wrote:It sure would be nice to have a government that truely cares for the people and not their own agenda. Extreme? What's extreme about that? Constitutional, maybe, but not extreme.EconDoc wrote:I do not want the government to "care" for me. I posted this in a discussion with a friend on facebook about Romney:
I'd rather have a car with bad brakes than no brakes at all. At least you have a chance of stopping before you plummet off the cliff.

That's only because we insist on not implementing a ranked or preferential voting system.AEA wrote:Yep, our only choice in most elections these days.RSJ wrote:Lesser of two evils. I'll take anything else.
Seriously people, it's not that hard.
