SIG P229R Elite Platinum (adjustable night sights, beavertail, SRT trigger, aluminum grips, etc). Comes with all original items including two factory 15-round magazines. This gun has the newer frame/slide and uses the P229-1 15 round factory mags.
Gun was purchased, cleaned, lightly lubed and stored in safe, never fired except factory tested. I have a couple of new guns on their way so I'm selling some of my unfired guns. There are still a few of these models on auction but they are no longer produced.
Just as a heads up, the 9mm P229R Elites with the FULL height rear slide serrations are the newer style with the frame that uses the P229-1 15 round mags. Holsters for the P229R will NOT fit this gun unless the holster has been made for the newer frame (I believe the frame is slightly wider, maybe the .40 caliber frame). The models with HALF height rear (and front) slide serrations normally come with 13 round factory mags and use the 15 round MecGar mags. The 13 round factory mags will fit in the newer model (a tad loose) but the P229-1 15 round mags that come with the newer model do NOT fit the older style P229R.
