Pulling up a chair... Getting in line

Post by RedEagle »

Nice to meet everyone.

Just mailed my packet Thursday 11/15/12, however I sent it express mail :chldancing and my tracking number says it arrived 11/16/12... but I'm sure that won't speed up the process lol.

I really enjoy the forum here and looking forward to being part of the community.

Welcome to the forum. Get comfy. You will probably be here about 6 weeks. Congrats on becoming a responsibly armed citizen.
Armed not dangerous but potentially lethal.

Trying not to check the status daily lol.
Sent packet on 11/15 and as of 11/28 it still doesn't show they've received it on the website. :waiting:

They're on the governments dime so it takes awhile. Its almost impossible not to check daily though. You'll probably see an update real soon though.

I sure will. No status change as of this afternoon. Even though it's saturday, I'll probably still check it tomorrow

It will update. My guess is it got slowed down due to the holidays but I dont work for DPS and dont want to.

DPS is slow but once the updates start to roll in it goes by rather fast. Typically unless they hit a snag on your background check the initial receipt of materials takes the longest to show on the site. :rules:

Good luck and hopefully you will get your update soon! :patriot:

RE,

I ordered a Crossbreed Super Tucks Deluxe holster this morning. 4-6 week delivery, I'm curious to what gets delivered first, my CHL or my Holster. "rlol"

Monday will be day number 22 since I mailed my packet with "no change in status". :banghead:
