CHL instructor recommendations in West Houston / Katy area?

Post by Vol Texan »

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good CHL instructor in the West Houston / Katy area? My wife and I took ours in San Antonio, so we don't know the ones locally, and we welcome recommendations. A friend of ours is now interested, and I'd like to help him find a good instructor in the area.

Thanks much!

It is well worth the drive to Friendswood to hear what Charles Cotton teaches.

Caprice, I know you addressed this to Texas Redfish but I took my CHL Training from Action Training in December.

Class was professionally run, on schedule, instructors were knowledgable. They spent the bulk of the time on the legalities (i.e. what is concealed, where can you carry, not carry, legal signage, what to do if you're involved in an incident, etc...).

I don't know if you've been to that range but it's top notch as well.

Good luck.
