New Ghost Rocket Trigger on Glock 26
I upgrade my Glock 26 trigger with the Ghost Rocket Trigger Bar. It was easy but took some time to file down the tab. This made a big improvement to my trigger. Here's a video explaining the installation process. I'm going to take it to the range today to see how it shoots.

I just wanted to mark the post so I get an update. I would like to know what you think. I have several Glocks and have grown accustomed to the trigger pull. This does not mean I wouldn't entertain an improvement.

Why buy a kit that you have to file down? If you don't file it enough and put it back together to test and its not right it's a pain to disassemble again? I'm lost on this one!

I've installed 2 Ghost Ranger 4.5# connectors now, 9mm and 357sig. Drop in install and NO modification at all. It did improve the trigger pull a bit and I do like it better. But 4.5# is not enough for me, so I'm upgrading (or downgrading), to a 3.5#. The EDGE is also a drop in. The company is going to let me swap it out and only pay the difference.

I've fired several Glocks with 3 1/2lb. triggers, and they sure are sensitive. I don't think I'd want one on a carry gun (Glock) with no external safety. Sort of like carrying a 1911 cocked, but not locked. Yeah, I know, keep my b...... off ..... Still, too sensitive for me, but I'm old. MHO.

Is it really that sensitive? I own a couple 1911's and they go bang at a slight squeeze. I'm not sure I would want my Glocks this sensitive. I was thinking a little crisper pull.G26ster wrote:I've fired several Glocks with 3 1/2lb. triggers, and they sure are sensitive. Well, you're basically cutting your Glock trigger pull weight almost in half. Slight squeeze is all it took for me. To each their own, I guess.03Lightningrocks wrote:Is it really that sensitive? No less an authority than Massad Ayoob has echoed what many have posted here, in regards a pistol used for self defense,
He states that such modifications lead to accidental or negligent discharge issues should you be forced to defend yourself for defensive use of the pistol.
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2011/0 ... es-part-v/The two things I would strongly advise against doing and have strongly advised against doing, would be a trigger pull lighter than the factory recommends, and removal or de-activation of a safety device.

After the video everything worked during dry fire. However, when I went to the range to test the trigger I had issues. My trigger would not reset every other round. Everything cycled but I had to manually ejected to get the trigger to reset. I was getting irritated. I went home and put in the factory trigger connector and headed back to the range and everything worked. The trigger did not feel lighter.03Lightningrocks wrote:I just wanted to mark the post so I get an update. I would like to know what you think. I did the 25 cent trigger job before putting on the Ghost Rocket and I was very happy with the way my trigger pull felt. The gritty feeling was gone and it feels a little lighter.
