I just came across this, I didn't find if it has already been posted or not. I think we should all write our reps to support this Bill.

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic-TN

Not a snowball's chance in heck of this impeachment's success.

It's not a bill to impeach him now, but opens up impeachment proceeding if a president goes around congress to deploy the Military.

There is just no end to the silliness those Congressmen can engage in.

We went through this about 15 years ago, almost with disastrous results. The Republicans in charge then thought it would be great fun to run Clinton through the ringer, let him twist slowly in the wind for the rest of his term, a true lame duck!

To their chagrin and surprise, so many Democrats hated and distrusted Clinton that the Democrats in the Senate were threatening to vote to convict him, resulting in removal from office. Unhappily, the proceedings had gone past January 20, 1999, the half way point, meaning that the Vice President could finish the less than half of Clinton's term and be eligible for two more terms of his own. Al Gore might have had a shot at being President for nearly 10 years! If that didn't make you wake up screaming in the middle of the night, what would? Luckily, all the bluffs got called, the points were made, and everyone lived happily ever after.

I hope that there is no chance of some buffoon trying a similar stunt. If you think this guy is bad, you won't want to see his replacement.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

That Chicago Gangster thug wanabee, would-be third-world African Dictator squatting in the White House has committed so many high crimes and misdemeanors that if anyone had the testicular fortitude he would already be in prison after having been removed from office and tried for his crimes.

At least Biden's an idiot, though. I'm starting to think Obama is quite clever, it's just that he's malicious as well.

Ted Cruz may not be eligible to run for president. He was born in Canada.

I was speaking of bringing charges against BHO?
I'm aCruz fan and have a fair knowledge of his history.
His mother is a natural born citizen and his father a naturalized citizen. I know he was born Canada when the family moved there for work. I used to believe that he was ineligible for POTUS! then another forum member pointed out to me that due to his parents history he is a naturalized citizen and may be eligible for POTUS. I hope we are are correct, I will campain and vote for him.

i call him DAN Quayle #2

pres can deploy troops anywhere for anything for up to 30 days without congress being informed and iirc 90 days if he tells he is going to do it, its an obscure thing
clinton did it to us ALL the TIME, we teased saddam about once every 20 days for months on end, steam up to the mouth of the ephraties river and make him go dark with our super radar thingy and open up some launch tubes, spin up a few missiles then mr. what is sex would have us stand down for a few weeks and we would disappear again and wait

but i say impeach his rear end anyway...he lies and now he is getting us into syria :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

This old canard again? Cruz's mother was born and raised in DE. Under federal law, Ted Cruz was a citizen at birth and is therefore a natural born citizen and eligible to become President.
