Anti-NRA Marchers -- political power display

Post by Jumping Frog »

Anti-NRA Marchers Rule the Ground on Which They Stand...

Pictures show enormity of the turnout. Wayne LaPierre shudders, alone, in his office. NRA begins to sell-off of DC area property.

NRA Spokesperson says, "It's clearly all over for us, now." Police present to protect and control restless crowd of protesters. Film, possibly, at eleven...

Five sad pictures from today’s anti-NRA March

Look at all the professionally printed posters.. An indicator of a true grass root effort.

I never spotted this on the Houston News channels. I guess we must all realize and accept there are other important concepts unfolding on that date. For example, it was World Penguin Day...

And this was in New York city. Just think if they tried this in Texas; they might just get enough people to make the resturant push two tables together for their lunch post rally wrap-up. LOL

Aww...they look so sad and disheartened. I almost feel sorry for them. Well...not really.

I took a picture at 7:45 this morning of almost that many people standing in line waiting for Academy to open. And I am pretty sure they were not there to buy Nikes.

It sure doesn't look like the crowd at a gun show. :evil2:

I admit I'm almost eager to see if there is any anti-NRA demonstrator presence in seven days at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

I'm hoping we can set NRA Annual Meeting attendance records this year. Past months, with the blatant--and failed--challenge to our rights in Congress has seen record numbers of new and upgraded NRA memberships. And this year the meeting is in the fourth largest city in the country...and the only one of the top four in a red, gun-friendly state.

St. Louis had 73,740 attendees. We need to beat that in Houston. We have over 550 exhibitors covering over 400,000 square feet this year. St. Louis had 517 exhibitors in over 340,000 square feet of space. Surely we can top the St. Louis attendance record.

And seeing 12 anti-NRA demonstrators among 75,000 meeting attendees would be, well, interesting...

I wonder if the thieves in Houston are thinking, "Finally! 66 unarmed people near the George R Brown center this weekend!"

According to the info on the NRA convention web page, CHL's are welcome at the convention center. Those protesters will likely be pretty popular with the local criminal element.

They also don't like people posting on their FB page that are not of the same opinion as themselves, they even post things about people who are inarticulate not lecturing them about the Constitution, but when they are challenged they not only become inarticulate but have to resort to ad hominem attacks and insults to back up their point of view.

And all I really did was point out that their statistics were wrong, and thank them for letting me know that they intend to be there so I can counter-protest.
