He had the sights cranked all the way to the right so I have reset them to factory center. I will shoot it later this afternoon when Mom gets here. We are going to the range for her last shoot before Sat renewal.
I will shoot this one too & give a report on it when we return.
Lock up is excellent. Typical Ruger. The single action trigger has a little creep & about a 5lb pull. Double action 12 or better. Typical Ruger.

Simply Rugged holster. This will be a field holster while hunting or taking the Grandkids fishing. I got the 6 loops so I would have some ready reloads w/o having to carry a speed loader in the field.
I have worn it all day yesterday & today to break it in. It sets tight to the body rides at good height for draw. It covers the barrel very well & that is good for a field holster. It actually conceals quit well. While working today it was chilly & I wore a heavy cotton long sleeve shirt over it. No print problem so when hunting season rolls around it will cover easily.
It does close up after draw enough that it requires both hands to reholster but not difficult.
At first the shell loops interferred w/ inserting the gun. After all night in the holster that was no longer an issue. In & out very smooth.
The 3rd belt slot gives the option for crossdraw while setting. I have had it strong side all day & in the truck or a chair it is very comfortable sitting.
Lead time was 10 weeks.
The name says it all. No frills & not the beauty of a Tucker but rugged enough to take a hard day in the field & do a great job of protecting a good gun. That is what it is supposed to do.
