The left call them "Uncle Tom"s and "sell-outs". I call the Heros.

They have. Remember Herman Cain? What did the liberal media do to him.

I like them. Both men were well spoken. I was especially impressed with Mr. Guillory. :thumbs2:

I wasn't necessarily talking about their race, rather their commitment to the idea of Liberty, Freedom and Conservatism. IMHO

The problem is, no matter what the race, such people are in a very small minority.

Less than 10% of the population supported the American Revolution, yet we defeated the most powerful army in the world. Never underestimate the impact a few determined souls can have on the outcome of any conflict.

Oh, I don't. I've been in situations where one person speaking out and resisting something wrong or stupid turned the whole situation around. OTOH, the American Revolution coalesced around, among other things, a unique convergence of philosophy, elite consensus, propitious circumstances, existential threat, and great men willing to act. It can happen again if the dynamic is right, but right now, I'm not seeing such a convergence --and great men are virtually invisible on the public scene. The time reminds me of the Yeats poem, The Second Coming, and the lines:
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
And while the best may not lack all conviction, the worst are definitely full of passionate intensity.
