Eligibility

Post by Joxds »

Hello I'm new to the forum.

Had a question concerning chl eligibility. In 2007 I was arrested for theft (felony) placed on differed adjudication in march 2008 completed my differed and everything was dismissed. Since then I have purchased 2 handguns and other weapons without any problems. My question is am I eligible for chl???

I have read alot but don't understand it 100 percent yet. All info would really help

Thanks!!!!!

Nope. Ten years from date of adjudication, so you'd be eligible March 2018.

You still have a right to defend yourself in your home on your private property.
