I submitted my change of address to TXDPS online on 06/29. I got my new plastic today. First off, that's Just Plain Fast for DPS.

When you consider there was a weekend & a holiday in there too, that's downright AMAZING.

In regards to the new plastic - there is only one difference I can discern other than the address being updated of course, now that I am in Missouri. The number on the left side of the photo area is now changed, but the license number and type are identical.

That's interesting because the handgun action type was supposed to go away when the bill was signed not on September 1st or am I wrong about that. If they did not have the form revised you would think they would just leave it blank. Maybe someday.
