The following handguns are on sale at Academy Sports & Outdoors from July 21-27, 2013.
REVOLVERS.
Rossi .44 Mag, 2" barrel snubbie, 5 rounds, $339.99.
If you are tired of your lifelong dominant hand, get one of these, put 100 rounds of .44 Magnum
through it....voila! You will now have a different dominant hand!! :-)
Taurus Judge, .45LC/.410, 5 rounds, DA/SA, $529.99.
SEMI-AUTOMATICS.
Smith and Wesson SDVE, aka Sigma, 9MM/16+1; .40/14 + 1; DA, $289.99. This may not be everyone's FAVORITE
pistol but for the price maybe this is someone's new entry pistol, BUG, or car gun. If used as a car gun,
you'll have a good number of rounds in self defense calibers, and if your vehicle is burglarized, the gun
isn't that expensive.

The above thread discusses the Sigma's in more detail

Stoeger Cougar 9MM, 15 + 1 rounds, 2 magazines, DA/SA, $399.99. Beretta level quality in a less
expensive brand name.
Citadel M-1911, 45 ACP, single action. The text does not state it, but the photo of it appears to show a 3" or 4" barrel, $499.99.
The grip looks compact. Round qty is unknown.
Taurus PT709 Slim, 9MM or .40, 6 + 1 rounds, DA, $299.99.
TriStar C-100, 9MM, 12 + 1 rounds, DA/SA, $329.99. This brand is unknown to me.

I believe they are imported from Turkey. I've heard mixed things about TriStar shotguns, but haven't heard anything about their pistols.surprise_i'm_armed wrote: TriStar C-100, 9MM, 12 + 1 rounds, DA/SA, $329.99. This brand is unknown to me.
