They are starting to show up in Arlington. Last time I was there, they about three weeks ago they were stacked pretty deep on everything but still didn't have any 9mm or bricks of .22

Yes Virginia there are DA/SA 1911's. Look up the Colt Double Eagle.

The Double Eagle is not a 1911. It just uses a 1911 slide and magazines, on a DA/SA frame. (Yes, I'm a purist 
)
