Sold M1 Garand DFW

This is an excellent Service Grade, Springfield Armory, post-war late production M1 with a 5.9 million serial number. The armory really knew how to make a high quality rifle and not be as rushed like WWII production. It has a walnut post WWII rebuild program stock with SA SHM acceptance stamp as well as the P, circle P and ordnance wheel stamps. I got this from the CMP in the 90s, tested it for function, cleaned it, and put away. I have had this stored since 2002(last time I checked it) and it needs a good home. I have stored this M1 with the trigger guard released and Rig in the barrel. The barrel has a throat erosion value of 3.0, so lots of life left in this barrel and muzzle looks great. I am asking $950 (I have already turned $850 cash down)and it is in DFW. I have my eye on something else, this has to go to make room and help pay for it. Every rifleman needs a M1, you know the administration is not going to let any more back in the country, so here is your chance.
