My mistake

Post by CenTx »

Hello all, New member here and I hope I posted this in the correct place.

I was looking around on the forum today and I noticed a post about someone getting a second email from RSD explaining that they had received their documents and they would pass them on to a CHL specialist. I only received one email(thanks for contacting RSD)...or did I? I did get two but the second was in my SPAM box!

I submitted everything online on Oct 21st
This email was sent to me on Oct 23rd
The email stated:
"There were no attachments with your email. You may want to resend a new email to us again with the attachments included.

Make sure when you are uploading attachments that you follow all steps below:

1. Hit the “Browse…” box
2. Then make sure you click on the “Upload” box
3. Then click on the “Submit Form” box

Many persons skip step #2 above and their attachments do not come through on our end."

I forgot to hit UPLOAD!! :cryin
It is a very deflating feeling when you read that email after waiting almost a month thinking you have done everything correctly.
I blame myself for not hitting upload but can't figure out why my email would send one message to my inbox and the other(most important) to my spam.

So now that I have resubmitted online I guess I will have to wait until January to receive my plastic.

Everyone make sure that you hit UPLOAD and check those spam boxes.

Bummer. Hopefully this will "trigger" others to check that spam box...

Welcome to the forum. Sorry you had the delay. I emailed both my wife's and my renewal paperwork (prior sep 1). I almost made the same mistake but caught myself while in the process. Seems like it could be a little clearer than what it is. The good thing is there shouldn't be nearly as much paperwork if any with the renewals.

I feel your pain as I did the exact same thing, it sucks going to the back of the line again.
