The girl is unharmed.An armed gunman who held a teenage girl against her will inside a Colleyville home is dead after a standoff with police and SWAT officers.

As they began to join the perimeter, police said the man came out of the front door of the home and pointed a handgun at the officers.
The officers then opened fire on the suspect, hitting him several times. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
For those who are unfamiliar with it, Colleyville is a very upscale, low-crime city. These things are not a guarantee of safety in the modern world......if they ever were.
