Another Party Announced on Social Media - Now I'm starting to think they should outlaw teenagers on Facebook.
One person is dead and two others were wounded in a shooting early Saturday at a large party in northwest Houston, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a call of a shooting at 1 a.m. at a small home near Nyoka and Okanella streets.
Investigators said that a cream-colored car pulled up to the party where there were about 50 to 60 teenagers and a gunman in the backseat opened fire. As many as 10 shots were fired into the crowd which was in a parking lot next to the home.
"Not fair, I pray to god he turns himself in,” Cardona said.
Maybe they shouldn't put something like that out to all 500 of their friends.
Or at all if their FB page is open for the public to see.

Lol... A little variation of this happened to me some 18 years ago I told my wife at the time to limit how many kids my daughter invited to her b-day party to 20. Thank god there was no Facebook. I ended up with 180 kids trying to enter my 1200 square foot house. Darned near the whole eighth grade class had been invited. We even had 20 year old boys show up. These kids were in eighth grade. I shut the party down and ended up with eight girls spending the night with my daughter. The rest were escorted to cars with parents driving as they left. Believe it or not, many of the kids thanked me for shutting it down as they were uncomfortable and were afraid to appear uncool by leaving. I could relate. I remember parties I attended as a misguided teen turning to crap. It does happen. The advent of the inter web makes these situations become extreme.
