Christmas Present

Post by longtooth »

Gave a Christmas present to me. Ordered it last Dec. Got it last week.
Now I need to figure out whether it is going to be last Christmas present or this coming Christmas present.
I know it will be last Christmas present so I can get me another "next Christmas" present.

Now the review. Tucker HF-1.
Four month lead time + or - a few days.
WORTH THE WEIGHT.
Out of the package retention was good & the draw was easy. Holds tight to the body & is rock solid.
At my age this may well be my last holster.
Might need to start now thinking of my last 1911 to go in it for next Christmas.

I don't think you're a goner yet.

And the holster is really nice. Does this one ride high like the galco? I may tell Daddy about it if it does.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Was not planning on kicking out real soon, just know the Tucker ought to last that long.

It actually rides a tiny bit higher than the Galco. It does not have as much cant as the Galco so that drops the barrel down to just about the same place. I like the cant on the Tucker better. The Galco is a little thinner. The Tucker (without stamping) is about $20.00 more & the lead time will be 10-12 weeks. It is worth the time. Just dont sell your gun during the wait.
