Man Injured in Austin Shooting

A man in his 30s was shot in the leg in the Gracy Farms area in North Austin on Friday afternoon, and another is being questioned by police in connection with the incident, authorities said.

The report came in from the Extended Stay Suites at 2700 Gracy Farms around 5:25 p.m. near Burnet/Duval and Mopac Expressway.

No other details were immediately available. Police have not confirmed where the shooting took place or the condition of the victim. Police were staging at a restaurant and shopping center near the hotel.
