I need a new recoil spring/guide rod assy for my Taurus.

Does anyone know where i can buy one, besides Taurus

Does anyone replace theres regularly? how often?

If yours is a PT1911, you can use 1911 parts from a myriad of suppliers.
If it's something else, Brownells or Midway, or Numrich are the Big 3.
Also, if you gun has a following, it almost certainly has a dedicated forum, or sub-forum, with a classifieds section. I know there is a forum for Taurus products. Some of the general forums, such as THR, are also good sources

My many orders from Brownells and Midway have always been delivered in three days. I think that is great!
