Renewal questions

Post by lws380 »

I have a friend that recently applied for a license renewal. He is now told his finger prints are not acceptable. I thought finger prints were not needed for renewals, correct? I'm wondering how finger prints that were acceptable to issue a new license, can now be not acceptable for a renewal.

One caveat. He applied for renewal 5 days after previous license expired. Does that change the equation? I thought you could apply for renewal up to one year after a license expired.

Sure makes me glad I stayed on top of my renewal early. I tried not to push the time limit and give them plenty of time to get the renewal completed.

He was probably printed with ink for his initial. They are moving to digital prints. If the ink prints aren't perfect they will make you go get the digital prints done on your renewal.
