Testing with revolvers and semi auto
I heard you can test with either and still carry both upon receipt of your license? As of September I read? The reason I ask is because that's what I heard and tested with a revolver on 5/4/14. Any info is appreciated.

I only took my class Saturday, so I'm no expert. But if I understood correctly, I believe there are no restrictions in what you can use to qualify, except for a .22.

There is no restriction on action of the handgun anymore. If you could shoot the course in time, you could use a Derringer.
Regarding caliber, you must qualify with a thirty two caliber or larger.

Awesome. I used a S&W Model 19-4 357 mag, but put .38 special through it for the test.jbarn wrote:There is no restriction on action of the handgun anymore. If you could shoot the course in time, you could use a Derringer.
